Dynamics and characterization of airborne particles, especially atmosphere-surface exchange.  Development of emission inventories for ammonia from agricultural sources. Studies of the relative importance of wet and dry deposition in influencing glacial record samples. Mathematical modeling and measurement of indoor air pollutant concentrations.  Assessment of historical air pollution trends.  Education in sustainable engineering, evaluation of student learning in sustainability.
