Professor Craig Maloney Awarded NSF CAREER Grant
Professor Craig Maloney has been awarded a National Science Foundation CAREER grant for his proposal "Plasticity and Jamming". The NSF Faculty Early Career Development (CAREER) Program is a foundation-wide activity that offers the NSF's most prestigious awards in support of junior faculty who exemplify the role of teacher-scholars through outstanding research, excellent education and the integration of education and research.
Professor Maloney also recently received NSF funding for his proposal with Professor Amit Acharya entitled "Homogeneous Dislocation Nucleation".
