Traveling to Pittsburgh

The ORBCRE Scientific Symposium 2008 will be held in Rangos Hall on the second floor of the University Center at Carnegie Mellon University.

Parking Information

Parking Map

Parking is available in the East Campus Garage located next to the University Center  (labled "Parking Garage" on the parking map). Parking rates are based by number of hours. Please see the rate chart for details. If you plan to park in the East Campus Garage, please contact Andrea Francioni Rooney at francioni@cmu.edu so that we may alert the parking office to the number of visitors to expect that day. Limited metered parking along Tech Street and Frew Street is also available for 25 cents per half-hour. The parking map shows the proximity of these streets to the University Center.

Evening parking (after 5pm) in the East Campus Garage is free. Morewood Parking Lot, also shown on the parking map, is open for visitor parking after 5pm.

Traveling from Local Hotels

The Holiday Inn Select University Center is the preferred lodging location for the ORBCRE Scientific Symposium 2008. The hotel is located within walking distance to the University Center and the hotel shuttle will take registered guests to campus.
