Professor David Dzombak has served as a consultant to industry and government organizations on a variety of projects related to water chemistry and modeling; remediation of contaminated soil and groundwater; fate and transport of contaminants in the subsurface environment; industrial waste, industrial wastewater, and hazardous waste management and treatment; control and treatment of acid mine drainage (coal mines, metal mines); remediation at manufactured gas plant (MGP) sites, and other areas.  His experience includes research and consulting work on metals, cyanide, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in water, soils, and sediments.  He has also served as an expert witness in legal cases involving the topical areas noted.  A list of organizations for which he has consulted is provided below.
