What am I reading? Hard question. Other than hundred (I'm exagerating!) of scientific, seismology and earthquake engineering related, articles, I give myself some time to read books and articles about other subjects... I'm now interessed in U.S. and French politics and political systems. My current readings are dedicate to understand and try to think about the country where I'm actually living in, the U.S.: Samuel P. Hungtington : Who Are We? The Challenges to America's National Identity (2004) Michael Hardt and Antonio Negri : Empire (2000) Estoy leyendo, aprovechando mis momentos de libertad, y ahora completamente secuestrado por el libro, Conversación en La Catedral de Mario Vargas LLosa.... |

What am I driniking? Another very hard question. One of my passion is wine. In the U.S. it is a difficult task to find a good and inexpensive wine. Easy task in Paris with my friend Florian leading the taste group... So we're trying (with Catherine)... The other "mission" is rediscover the Cabernet Sauvignon, a grape I forgot completely about it during the last years in France when I was focused on the wonderful, fantastic southern France wines... |
