Quake Group memebers win the 1st EERI annual graphics competition.

Quake Group awarded $1.6M from NSF's PetaApps program to develop earthquake simulations in large urban areas.
December, 2006:
Quake Group achieves its first Terashake simulation for f=1Hz and Vs=200m/s. Results are presented at AGU's Fall Meeting.

Quake Group wins SC06 Analytics Challenge.
