Suppose the provider of the service in (3) offered to reduce your subscription charge in exchange for tracking data from your vehicle, such as location and travel speed. Data tracking would occur automatically as you drove without interfering with the vehicle operation or the cellular telephone. The provider of the service would ensure that any such data was recorded and stored anonymously (e.g. so the police could not use the data for issuing speeding tickets).
