|||
Our work in this area is designed to create an environmental observatory (a network of information and technology - a cyberinfrastructure) for the Ohio River Basin. Our objective is to develop and implement data systems to "store, document, preserve, and provide acccess to raw environmental observatory data," develop and implement data mining, modeling and visualization tools for use on biological and chemical water quality data in the Ohio River Basin, and intergrate observatory development with multiple stakeholders including universities, colleges, preK-12 education, informal science education programs, and current data curators (e.g., EPA, USGS, ORSANCO, state agencies). |
