Pathogen Detection of Raman

Raman spectroscopy offers significant benefits for identification and quantification of microorganisms in a variety of matrices using no reagents and not requiring growth conditions. Further, the sensitivity of the method for determining metabolic states offers significant potential for viability assessment, especially at the single cell level.
