Sensor Placement

Sensors and sensor nets for environmental data are expected to revolutionize environmental monitoring, leading to widespread "pulse-taking" of the natural and built environments. Further, linking sensor data with multi-scale, multi-component modeling through cyberinfrastructure is expected to significantly increase our understanding of environmental systems and enahnce our ability to make policy decisions.
