Pathogens in Drinking Water

Our work in this area has focused on the persistance of Legionella in drinking water and the efficacy of point-of-entry devices to reduce Legionella in dedicated drinking water distribution systems (i.e., hospital campuses). Current work includes evaluation of the suitability of monitoring chlorine residual for detection of pathogen intrustion in drinking water systems, and is detailed on the Monitoring and Modeling section of the site.
